To create your first team, tap the "+" button on the home screen. Enter your team name and optional description, then start adding players with their names, jersey numbers (1-99), and positions (Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder, Forward). You can add as many players as needed for your squad.

Futgenix automatically calculates the average playing time across all players and uses color indicators: Red means a player needs more time, Orange indicates fair time, and Green shows the player has had enough time. This helps ensure equal opportunities for all team members.

Yes! Futgenix supports 11v11, 9v9, 7v7, and 5v5 match formats. Each format has different field requirements and playing time rules. You can set your default format in Settings or choose a different format when starting each match.

During a live match, tap on any playing player to substitute them out, then select a bench player to bring in. The app automatically tracks substitution counts and updates playing time for both players. Visual indicators help you see who's on the field and who's available on the bench.

Absolutely! Go to Settings > Data Management > Export All Data to download your complete coaching data. You can choose from JSON, CSV, or Excel formats. This includes all teams, players, match statistics, and settings for backup or analysis purposes.

Futgenix automatically saves match progress every few seconds. If the app crashes, restart it and your match data should be preserved. Make sure your device has sufficient battery and isn't in power saving mode during matches for the best experience.

Yes! All your team and match data is stored locally on your device using iOS security features. We don't upload your data to external servers, and you have complete control over your information through the app's export and delete features.

There's no limit to the number of players you can add to a team. However, you need at least the minimum number of players for your chosen match format (11 for 11v11, 9 for 9v9, etc.) to start a match. We recommend having extra players for substitutions.
